Washington vs. Stanford NCAAF Pick – Week 6
The Washington Huskies are at Stanford Stadium to Get a meeting with the Cardinal on Saturday night.
Its the late night, Pac-12 match of the week for Week 6. This season has been really looked just like their former selves by neither team. Stanford has generally become a team since the Jim Harbaugh and Andrew Luck era. His group is led by david Shaw . Thats not good for the Cardinal, who are well off the pace in prior seasons. Stanford have won nine games at eight of their past nine campaigns and the previous four decades. That contained two Rose Bowls and an Orange Bowl.
Stanford are likely not going to be visiting a top-tier bowl game this year. Theyd have to really move on some unbelievable run. Unbelievable lose a game for the rest of the season. Stanford dont look like a team that is currently going to have the ability to accomplish that. Their defense is okay and doing the best they can, but no K.J. Costello underneath center has been quite noticeable for the Cardinal. Having a wholesome Costello, Stanford have a likelihood of being a competitor in the Pac-12 again.
Costello has the experience and capability, although the Cardinal have found a suitable replacement that was enough. JJ Arcega-Whiteside from the passing games reduction hurts. He was a big, dependable target for Costello. Davis Mills has done a decent job thus far and continues to be Costellos replacement.
Since he passed 3 touchdowns and no interceptions, hes coming from a sharp performance against Oregon State. That could be a confidence builder for Mills, however, thats Oregon State and this is Washington. He will see a substantial increase in talent level about the Washington shield Saturday night. Mills does get the relaxation of Stanford Stadium, though, and Cal revealed that Washington are a team. Cal put a blueprint on the best way to beat on Washington. Head under for our free Washington vs. Stanford pick.

David Mills has also compiled a total of 4 touchdowns and 1 interception in his first season at Stanford under center. Hes also finished 62.5% of his passes, which isnt too bad for a guy with little experience. Hes been able to sit on the seat and watch the previous two seasons. Mills got a chance to find work in at clinic also, so its not like he is a freshman out of school. This is a large opportunity for Mills, and there is reason, if he can keep his run from a week.
Washington are working with a brand new look crime in 2019. This offensive units focus is now gone. Quarterback Jake Browning and running Myles Gaskin both moved into the NFL, so that renders opportunities that are new . Browning is about the Minnesota Vikings practice squad, while Gaskin has been a healthy scratch for the Dolphins.
Gaskin and Browning have been a wonderful punch for the Huskies, although their professional careers have gotten off to a slow start. Having said that, Salvon Ahmed and Jacob Eason have filled in nicely. Eason has passed for 10 touchdowns and 2 interceptions, while linking for 71 percent of his passes.
Everything indicates a big win for Washington in this spot. However, is a disclaimer that comes along with placing the points. This is. Washington can often play down to their opponents. Maybe they dont lose those matches, but allowing them to stay within striking distance.
The crime has a tendency to get stuck in manner, although the defense keeps things in check. Be aware that the Huskies have gone 3-8 from the spread in their last 11 games on the road. Keep in mind that theyre 1-4 ATS in their last five against teams with a losing record and 1-4 ATS in their past five games in Stanford. Anticipate Washington night going through the moves on Saturday to be caught by the Cardinal. Im searching for a 33-21 win for the Huskies, so all of those points appear good on the home team.
