Washington vs. Stanford NCAAF Pick – Week 6
The Washington Huskies are in Stanford Stadium for a meeting with the Cardinal on Saturday night.
It is the Pac-12 late night game of the week for Week 6. This year has been looked just like their former selves by neither team. Stanford has become a team that is ranked because Andrew Luck era and the Jim Harbaugh. His group is led by david Shaw . That is not good enough. Stanford have won the previous four years and at eight of the past nine attempts to at least nine games. That included two Rose Bowls and an Orange Bowl.
Stanford are probably not going to be seeing that a bowl game this season. They would need to really go on some run. Incredible miss a match for the remainder of the season. Stanford dont look like a team that is going to have the ability to accomplish that. Their shield is okay and doing the best they could, however no K.J. Costello under centre has been quite noticeable for the Cardinal. With a Costello, Stanford have a far better probability of being a contender at the Pac-12 again.
Costello has the experience and capability, although the Cardinal have found a suitable replacement that was enough. The loss of JJ Arcega-Whiteside from the game hurts. He was a big, dependable target for Costello. Davis Mills continues to be Costellos replacement and has done a decent job thus far.
As he passed for 3 touchdowns and no interceptions he is coming off a sharp performance against Oregon State. That could be a confidence builder for Mills, however, that is Oregon State and this is Washington. Hell observe a substantial increase Saturday night. Mills does get Stanford Stadiums comfort and Cal revealed that Washington are a beatable team. Cal set a blueprint on how to beat Washington. Head below for our free Washington vs. Stanford select.

David Mills has also compiled a total of 4 touchdowns and one interception in his first season at Stanford under center. Hes also finished 62.5percent of his moves, which is not too bad for a guy with little experience. Hes been able to sit on the seat and watch the previous two seasons. Mills got a chance to get work in clinic too, so its not like he is a freshman fresh out of school. This is a big opportunity for Mills, and theres reason to believe he is stuck with by Shaw, if he can keep his run from a week.
Washington are working with a new look offense in 2019. The units focus is gone. Quarterback Jake Browning and operating Myles Gaskin both went to the NFL , so that leaves fresh opportunities in Washington for the Huskies. Browning is on the Minnesota Vikings practice group, although Gaskin has been a healthy scratch for the Dolphins.
Gaskin and Browning have been a wonderful punch for the Huskies, although their careers have gotten off to a slow start. That said, Jacob Eason and Salvon Ahmed have filled in well. While linking for 71% of his passes, eason has passed for 2 interceptions and 10 touchdowns.
Everything indicates a win for Washington in this area. However, is a disclaimer that comes along with placing the points about the Huskies. That is a team that arent the exact same on the street as they are in the home. Washington can often play to their competitions. Although they dont lose those games, but enabling them to remain within striking distance.
The crime has a tendency to become stuck in manner, while the defense keeps things under control. Be aware that the Huskies have gone. Keep in mind theyre 1-4 ATS in their last five against teams with a losing record and 1-4 ATS in their past five matches in Stanford. Anticipate Washington moving through the motions on Saturday night to be caught by the Cardinal. Im searching for a 33-21 win for the Huskies, therefore those points all look great.
