Andy Murray to take brief hiatus as wife Kim expects their third child

Andy Murray will have a brief hiatus because his wife Kim is currently expecting the couples third child in the coming weeks.
Murray is likely a break after next weeks European Open, but he is ready to leave Antwerp and reunite should Kim enter an early labour.
Obviously the baby can come any moment from pretty much next week. Id adjust my schedule if I could not go to Antwerp, the former world No 1 told The Times.
My plan is to perform Antwerp and then Im done through into the Davis Cup (November 18-25). In the event the baby came first, I would miss Antwerp and maybe play in the Paris Masters (October 26-November 3).
The 32-year-old has lately returned to singles contest following a hip replacement surgery.
A run to the quarter-finals of the China Open last week where world No 5 Dominic Thiem beat him – was followed by a defeat to world no 12 Fabio Fognini at the Shanghai Masters.
Murray is happy with his progress and also the three-time Grand Slam winner is hopeful of being able to contend with the world awaiting.
He added:I am surprised with how smooth (my yield ) was. I had two decades of having plenty of pain after every single match. I play a match, the entire body hurts, so I still have some pain in my back, the muscles are exhausted and things like this, but that my hip is nice and I couldnt remember what that was like before.
Ive been aggressive up to now. I will get about that, if I could keep improving a couple of things over the next few months, and there is an outside chance.
I want to be competitive in the big events against the top players. Im not there yet, but Im closer than I was a month before, and even closer than a few months back.
Murray is the first participant to go back to the singles match after his type of operation, even though Bob Bryan was able to keep his career after a process that is similar.
Should he suffer another injury to the region, though, Murray will be prepared to call it.
I know that it is not important when or where I end my career, he said. If I had yet another hip injury, I likely would not keep going. My stylish may break and that could be it. I would be finished if this happened.
However, theres no indication of that happening anytime soon. It appears to be getting more powerful all the time.
