Even someplace between the fringe All-Star of 2015-16 along with the disaster of 2016-17 would leave the Pistons in better place, and the deepening backcourt should enable them to rest him more and keep the knee tendinitis from flaring up again. Plus, that’s not the best news of all.
The Pistons still play in the Eastern Conference, and it’s poorer than ever.
